Tough Economy Who?
In today’s tough economy… wait… we can’t finish that sentence without wanting to come unglued. Enough with sentences that start with “In today’s tough economy.” There’s still money everywhere, you just have to find the drive to keep looking for it!
We’ve already talked about how placing blame on your life circumstances (i.e. the economy) is a surefire way to find failure beyond your wildest dreams, but we haven’t talked about what some of the negatives of being rich really are. Can you think of any?
If the answer is yes, you’ve got a little bit of work to do.
If the answer is no, pat yourself on the back. You’re probably getting rich just reading this! There is no negative to being rich. There’s no downside when you compare it to not being rich!
So here’s your million dollar coaching: Stop wanting to get rich and start COMMITTING to being rich.
The biggest difference between rich people and people who aren’t, is that rich people don’t just want to be rich, they aren’t even choosing to be rich, they’re 1,000,000% committed to being rich. When you commit to something what is different? What immediately changes? Does it feel empowering or daunting?
When you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you’re committed to being rich, you’ll put everything you’ve got into it, without reservation, without even missing a beat.
Do whatever it takes? Sure! Put the time in until the job gets done? No problem! Risk everything with no guarantee of returns? Where do I sign up? Read this again. This is the mindset of a rich person.
When you think you can’t put in any more… you put in whatever you’ve got left and just wait and see what our ol’ pal the universe (shout-out!) has in store for you.
What’s something that you can commit to today? Can you commit to financial abundance in 2010 and beyond? Can you commit to contributing beyond yourself? Can you commit to that FTW net worth (that’s “For The Win” for those who missed that post!) right now?
We’re committing to never start a sentence with the words “in today’s tough economy” ever again!
How about you? What are you willing to commit to right now? We want to know!
You’ve SO got this . . .
